Six Years

I play this day over and over again in my head. The flowers, the dresses, the music, the hugs, the laughter, the food, the dancing… it all seems like a dream. More like a fairytale.
The entire day was filled with the utmost feelings of love and joy, but most of all peace.
I just knew that Alex was the man for me.
And six years later I still know it.
Even six years later I have to pinch myself sometimes!
I’m still nuts about my high school crush!
We’ve had our struggles, but through them we’ve grown closer as a couple.
He still manages to sweep me off my feet.
I can’t help but feel I made the right choice
And I would make it a million times over again if I could.
We fit well together.
Like, perfect.

Happy Six Years to the love of my life!

Frederico Maternity Shoot

I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful couple as they await the arrival of their sweet baby boy (he's due any day now!). This was the first maternity shoot I've done. I was nervous and hesitant about doing it...I wasn't sure if I would be able to convey what I wanted to. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out! It makes it easy when you have such awesome clients!
We became friends with the Frederico's shortly after we moved to Tucson and quickly found out that we had common friends back in Temecula...small world! Krista is probably the sweetest person you'll ever meet. She's been through a lot and has been waiting for this little baby to join their family for years. I couldn't be more thrilled for them!
Congrats you two!

Van Buskirk Family Photoshoot

Talk about a fun family! Their enthusiasm and love for life is simply contagious! Each of the girls has such a unique personality along with their own unique beauty. I don't think any of them look alike! And I can tell that the dad just loooooves being with all of his girls! And they adore him equally as much!
I get to work closely with the mom and two older girls in the Young Woman organization at church and I'm so grateful to know such sweet, loving people!!
